About Soulful Cypher:
Since 2014 Soulful Cypher™ has provided free, safe-space events for DJs, Poets, Spoken Word Artists and dancers. The vibe is designed to bring out the best in everyone, and it has. The House on the Hudson™ community events at J. Owen Grundy Park in Jersey City have led to additional events as the joy and uplifting nature of House on the Hudson™ has spread throughout Jersey City. Soulful Cypher works to offer family friendly free events and welcomes everyone to come out and enjoy the diversity that Jersey City has to offer. The range of activities and events offered by Soulful Cypher™ to the community increase and strengthen with the unity that has become the Soulful Cypher™ Circle.

Soulful Cypher™ has participated in such events as JC Fridays, Hamilton Park events, Hudson County Arts and Culture events, including 2016 Earth Day celebrations and is honored to collaborate with Jersey City Puerto Rican Heritage Art & Culture toward building the JC Puerto Rican Heritage Festival & Parade. Soulful Cypher continues to develop collaborations for community driven events, intimate and across borders.

The bigger picture is to bring attention to the artists within our own community, provide them a space and structure with which to build, perform, network and give back to the community while engaging the community to support local artists and help the local economy thrive by supporting independent artists, entrepreneurs and businesses.
